1. Profile

The corporation grows out of original Qingdao Steam Turbine Works and is now a first-level large national enterprise featuring high and new technology, which takes Jieneng Brand steam turbines as its leading products and boasts a state-of-the-art production scale. The corporation enjoys an import/export license. Set up in 1950, the corporation started its manufacture of steam turbines in 1958, and now owns a capability of 1000 MW per year. Now, the corporation owns a total assets of RMB0.43 billion and covers an area 0.22 million squ.m, including a building area of 0.155 million squ.m, and has 1500 staff members, including more than 300 engineers and technicians. As a key manufacturer of small and middle steam turbines appointed by the state, the corporation possesses more than 600 sets of key producing equipment, including nearly one hundred sets of large and precision machines, which are basically of digital display and digital control, thus achieving a very powerful and comprehensive processing capability. Up to now, the corporation has provided more than 2600 sets of Jieneng Brand steam turbines of various types, with unit capacity of up to 60 MW, which are being used in different industries throughout the country and in such foreign countries as Thailand, Bangladesh, Tanzania, Indonesia, etc. The Corporation has occupied 52% shares of small and middle steam turbine markets with its 3MW,6MW,12MW and 25MW steam turbines, and is now the most powerful specialized manufacturer of co-generating steam turbine, which is in position to provide the most complete series and maximum types of such machinery in China.

2. Series of products

The Technology Development Center affiliated to the corporation, a province-level technology development center of Shandong Province, has devoted itself in the research and development of various steam turbines of up to 60MW each for many years, and actively adopted CAD/CAM,PDM and other advanced methods of design, manufacture and management to gradually establish a perfect line of products, which covers 9 series of condensing, back pressure, extraction, extraction-back pressure, geothermal, wet steam, multi-pressure, industrial and packaged modular units, including more than 200 types, which find a wide application in many industries such as power generation, petroleum, chemistry, printing and dying, textile, cement, pulp and paper, sugar refinery, steel and iron, garbage disposal, combined steam and gas turbine cycle, and urban district heating, and, user's different requirements can also be satisfied to the utmost extent. The corporation devotes itself to the technical innovation, and adopts full 3-dimension methods for the optimization of garbage power and combined cycle units as well as 15MW,25MW,60MW,135MW,200MW units, completed with WOODWARD EHC systems and BENTLY instruments, thus showing a new image of products with the first-class technology in China.

The corporation pursues a famous-brand policy energetically, and has won the title Pacesetter for Quality in national steam turbine industry and won the National May Day Labor Medal. In 1980, its model N3-24 steam turbine won a silver medal, the first national medal for quality in the development history of Chinese steam turbine industry. And meanwhile, its both model B6-35/10 back pressure and N6-35 condensing steam turbines were granted the titles Superior Product by the Ministry of Machine Building Industry and Shandong Province authority. In 1986, its model D3 geothermal steam turbine was granted a National Third Prize for Scientific and Technical Advance, filling in a gap domestically. In 1989, its extraction steam turbine was granted the title Superior Product by Qingdao authority. In 1990, its 3~6MW back pressure was granted the title Superior Product by the Ministry of Machine Building Industry, and C12-50/10 extraction-condensing steam turbine was chosen as a national new product. In 1992, its CB12,CC12 and B12 series steam turbines were chosen as national new products.

In 1999, its model S12-10 steam turbine of wet steam type was chosen as a national new product. And in 2000, its model C15-35/5 extraction-condensing steam turbine was chosen as a national new product. Through several leaps in development, the corporation has turned into the biggest domestic supplier of co-generating steam turbines and made a outstanding contribution to the development of small and middle steam turbines in China.

3. Quality control system

In 1996, the corporation was the first in the steam turbine industry to pass the ratification by both Vouching Technical Inspection Ltd based in Beijing, China, and FMRC Co. based in USA with ISO9001 Quality Assurance System—Design/Development, Manufacture, Installation and Service.

1) Quality policy of the corporation: Satisfactory product and service are the eternal targets that we pursue.

2) Quality target of the corporation:

Take the lead in the country in terms of small and middle steam turbines and their design level.

The units are safe and reliable, high in efficiency, full in power and high in serviceability.

The corporation' image will be shown in its products.

4. After-sale service

An after-sale service department has been set up especially by the corporation for a better after-sale service to free users of their fear at products to the full extent. Our creed for service is: Serve a user, make a friend and develop a market.

We hereby give our serious commitments to broad clients:

1) Earnestly learn from Haier's advanced experiences in after-sale service. At user's request, service persons will be sent to the work site to give free instructions on the installation and commission of equipment, tackle the problems of technical quality that arise from the installation and commission of the supplied equipment, main machine and auxiliaries, and provide correspondent technical service.

2) Once receiving a request for service from a user, an unambiguous reply will be given within 24 hours or an on-the-site service will be offered in time.

5. Enterprise culture

The corporation works for an innovation of enterprise culture, and has established a spirit of enterprise called Development, Innovation and Pursuance for Brilliance, and summarized an enterprise concept, the core of which is: Excellent Products, Excellent Service, Excellent Calculation, Excellent Staff Members, and Excellent Improvement of Skills.
